Built for the people who specify and buy.
Designers, architects, purchasing agents, and dealers get trade pricing, specification support, and a direct line to the factory floor. You send the drawing and the fabric. We build exactly that, document it, and ship it on schedule.
One program, four kinds of partner.
If you specify furniture on behalf of a client, resell to properties, or buy across multiple projects a year, the trade program is built for how you actually work.
Build to the elevation
Send drawings, elevations, and a finish schedule. We manufacture to the exact dimensions and COM you specified, so the delivered piece matches the design instead of approximating it.
One spec, clean paperwork
Trade pricing, consolidated quotes, compliance documentation, and a specification kept on file so multi-phase and multi-property orders match without re-quoting every line.
A factory behind you
Wholesale pricing, white-glove build quality, and direct-from-factory lead times you can commit to your own customers. We stay behind the scenes on your project.
Pricing that improves with the order.
Trade pricing applies from the first approved piece. The tier deepens with volume, and portfolio partners running standing programs get locked pricing against a fixed specification.

Support that a catalog cannot give you.
The trade program is not just a discount. It is direct access to the factory that builds your order, with the support a specified project actually needs.
We read drawings
Send elevations, dimensions, and finish schedules. We confirm every measurement before production, including seat height, seat depth, arm height, and radius on curved pieces, so the built piece matches the drawing.
Your material or ours
Ship your brand-approved COM and we upholster to your exact specification, or select from our in-house commercial library. Customer-owned material carries an additional handling and storage fee; fabric selected from our library does not.
See it before you commit
Fabric cuttings, finish samples, and material options sent for approval before production. For larger programs we recommend a factory visit to inspect construction in person.
Everything on paper
Fire compliance certificates, material certifications, dimensional confirmation, and brand-standard verification ship with every order, packaged for FF and E submission and inspection files.
From drawing to delivery.
A straightforward path from first inquiry to a documented order on your schedule. You stay in control of the specification the whole way.
Apply and share the project
Send your trade details and the project scope, drawings, or spec. We set up your trade account and start reviewing right away.
Quote and samples
You receive trade pricing, fabric and finish samples, a confirmed dimensional spec, and a realistic lead time within one business day.
Approve the specification
We confirm every dimension, fabric, and finish in writing before anything is cut. Nothing goes to the floor until you sign off.
Build, document, ship
We manufacture in South Carolina, ship compliance documentation with the order, and schedule delivery around your install date.
Reorder three years later. Same piece.
The hardest part of specifying furniture from an importer is what happens on the next phase. The model is discontinued, the replacement is close but not the same, and the client notices the lobby no longer matches.
Because we manufacture rather than resell, your specification stays on file. Frame dimensions, fabric, finish, and foam density. When phase two needs twelve more of the same chair, we build twelve more of the same chair.
That continuity is why designers and purchasing agents keep coming back to Johnson across projects, not just within one.
I send them a drawing and a COM, and what shows up is exactly what I drew. For a purchasing agent, that is the whole job made easy.
The program, answered.
The questions designers, purchasing agents, and dealers ask before opening a trade account. If yours is not here, we reply within one business day.
Who qualifies for the trade program?
The program is built for interior designers, architects, purchasing agents, procurement firms, and furniture dealers who specify or buy on behalf of a client or property. Apply with your business details and we set up a trade account, typically within one business day.
Is there a minimum order to get trade pricing?
No. Trade pricing applies from the first approved piece. Pricing improves at 25 plus, 50 plus, and 100 plus pieces, with the deepest tiers reserved for portfolio partners running standing programs against a fixed specification.
Can you build from my drawings and finish schedule?
Yes. Send elevations, dimensions, and a finish schedule and we manufacture to those exact figures, confirming seat height, seat depth, arm height, and radius before production. We build to the drawing rather than substituting the closest catalog item.
How does COM work, and is there a fee?
Ship your brand-approved COM to our factory and we upholster to your specification, or select from our in-house commercial library. Customer-owned material is subject to an additional handling and storage fee covering receiving, inspection, measuring, and storage. Fabric selected from our library is not subject to this fee.
Do you provide samples before production?
Yes. We send fabric cuttings and finish samples for approval before anything is cut. For larger programs we recommend a factory visit so you can inspect construction and materials in person before committing.
What documentation ships with a trade order?
Every order includes fire compliance certificates, material certifications, dimensional confirmation, and brand-standard verification, packaged for FF and E submission and inspection files. Compliance is documented, not just claimed.
What is the lead time for trade orders?
Standard lead time is 4 to 6 weeks from spec approval for orders up to 100 units. Larger programs of 100 to 500 units run 8 to 12 weeks with phased delivery. Because we manufacture domestically there is no port or customs risk in the timeline. Rush production is available with an expedite fee.
Will reorders match my original specification?
Yes. Your specification stays on file indefinitely. When a later phase or a second property needs the same piece, we build it at the same dimensions, fabric, and finish, so the environment reads as one continuous design across projects and years.
Send us the drawing. We will take it from there.
Apply for trade pricing or send your current project. Either way you reach the people who will actually build the order, with a quote and samples back within one business day.
